A member asked:

Can cysts at c6-7 nf cause pressure or occlusion to vertebral artery? ex. different head/neck pos. or...

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Size and location.: If cysts are enlarging, and close to foramen transversarum in the neck, there could be potential for pressure on vertebral artery unilaterally, but more often this mechanism due to degenerative arthritic bone spur near the artery, or significant acceleration/deceleration trauma such as chiropractic "adjustment". See a neurosurgeon and get this addressed.
