Single Kidney: One kidney is enough to have a normal life if no other issues. The single kidney acquire bigger size due to compensatory hypertrophy to handle the functions of two. There will be some restriction for her to stay out of trouble, e.g. Contact/violent sports, food, fluid intake, etc. Talk to her nephrologist who will give you a general guideline to follow.
