A member asked:

Is it bad to only have 1 kidney ? can i still exercise i just found out today i only have one but i've always been healthy

One kidney: Patients with one kidney can live healthy and long lives with no complications. Every living-related kidney donor has one kidney and has no propensity to have an increased risk of kidney failure. That being said, if you have a problem with your remaining kidney due to an accident, for example, you have no other kidney to prevent you from going into renal failure. Enjoy.
