Kidneys or backpain?: Your kidney area or back may be hurting due to musculoskeletal pain (pulling a muscle at the gym or doing something out of the ordinary) is common. Kidneystones happen and are very painful. If no fever, painful urination or urgency/frequency, try some ice, Ibuprofen and if no relief see your doc. Also drink lots of water; it helps get bacteria out. Void after intercourse, wipe front to back!
