Needing expert help. i have only 28 teeth, 14 on top, and bottom. i have never had any teeth come through at the back and i'm well into my 20's. is this odd?

Not at all: It is quite normal. You wisdom teeth may not have erupted, they may be impacted, or they may have not formed. Radiographs would show the location and inclination of those teeth, if present.
