Some possibilities: Genetics plays a large role in where teeth erupt. Also, the forces your tongue and the forces that one tooth places on another can affect the position of the teeth. Speak to an orthodontist regarding your options in uprighting those teeth.

Many factors: These are some, but not all the causes: over retained baby teeth, size of your jaw, oral habits, jaw bone development. Loss of some teeth that cause other teeth to shift. They can be fixed with orthodontics.
