Depending on....: The status of the remained piece of tooth, plus the extent/depth of the fractured part are very important. Sometimes, a root canal, plus a crown lengthening surgery, followed by a post ; crown can answer for years, ; sometimes we can't save the tooth, ; implant will be 2 nd best. See your dentist asap.

Hard to say...: It really depends on so many factors including bone support, amount of tooth remaining, need for root canal therapy, etc. Your local dentist is better prepared to assess the tooth and determine if it is worth saving.
