Cause: What was determined to be the cause of the ulcer? Most lesions resolve on their own in about two weeks. Your dentist apparently feels it is not serious. Without knowing anything about your social habits or medical history (other than your pregnancy) it would not be a bad idea to have an oral surgeon take a look.

Not healing: Any lesion in the mouth of more than 10 days duration must be evaluated. I would want an Oral Surgeon or a Periodontist to evaluate.
