Unclear question: Your question does not state what your thyroid problem is. Most can be treated without surgery. Perhaps you should see a thyroid specialist (an endocrinologist).

Thyroid: It depends what thyroid problem do you mean. The most common are hyper active or under active thyroid. Most of the time it can be treated with medications only.
