Need more info: Hi. Except in pregnancy, thyroid surgery is generally only done for thyroid cancer or to rule out thyroid cancer. What was the surgical pathology on your thyroidectomy? We need to know surgical pathology AND your TSH and free T4 post-op. Give us that info, and maybe we can help. Good luck!
