In your city ?: It would be different than in manhattan, or downtown los angeles, and again different from wilmington, nc. Each office is independently owned and charges different fees based on materials, time, and complexity. It is such a broad range, that the answer is meaningless, but since you asked, $50 to $500 per tooth.

To many variables: The cost of a dental filling will vary depending on many different factors, including: size of the cavity, what materials were used, how much time did the doctor spend treating you, office overhead expenses, and skill of the doctor. There is no "one size fits all" answer to your question.

Varies: It depends on whether a front or back tooth and how many surfaces are involved. If only the top (chewing ) surface of a back tooth, then this is less than if it was the top and the front or back. Same for front tooth. Where you live affects the cost as well. Average range may be from about $150 to $450 according to what tooth and how many surfaces. Good Luck.
