See TMJ Doctor: Jaw clicking is almost always related to a displaced disc in the jaw joint (tmj). No treatment indicated if there is no pain and the jaw does not lock open or closed. If the noise is loud enough that others can hear it, then you should see a TMJ specialist for assessment and treatment.
