Seeing holes in wisdom teeth extraction site. is this normal?

Yes, it can be: If erupted wisdom teeth are removed you will likely see a surgical defect or hole in the jaw previously occupied by the tooth. Even when sutures are placed following the removal of an impacted tooth, you may still see a hole in the gums.

Temporary: Normal. Holes with disappear with time. For best results, make sure your procedure is done by a board certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon.
