Is it normal to have some teeth sensitivity after wisdom tooth removal? it's been a month since the extraction, and i feel some gum swelling and sensitivity surrounding the wisdom tooth extraction site. a recent check-up showed everything is normal?

Depending on the complexity of the extraction, this is not out of the ordinary. Since you have been examined post-op and everything appears to be fine, give it a little more time.

Sensitivity after any tooth removal is felt until the wound heals. While the wound is healing there is direct access of wound to oral environment and saliva. Anything you eat will have effect on wound which includes soft tissue and hard tissue. Soft tissue heals faster, hard tissue takes longer to heal. If check up was done recently then nothing to worry. If still worried, second opinion advised
