Please help! does getting a root canal hurt?

No RCT is a painless: Root canal is a painless procedure. Due to all the technical advances. Motrin or advil (ibuprofen) after the procedure and patients can usually go back to work.

Typically not: Get seen and treated promptly and it will be a surprisingly painless experience. Wait for pain, swelling, infection and inflammation then might not be quite so painless. And get the tooth restored once the root canal is finished. Hope this helps.
