Difference : Typically psychiatrists prescribe medicine for sleep disturbances that can include nightmares. However, psychiatrists tend not to do all that much therapy. On the other hand, psychologists help patients deal with the emotional content of nightmares, but they do not have prescript of power, as do psychiatrists.
