Confusing question: If you live in a location where the water supply has low or no fluoride, supplemental Fluoride is often prescribed. The dentist should be aware of these issues and prescribe accordingly. Many boxed supplements warn you not to use them without proper supervision (doc or dentist).Call to clarify if concerned.
