Highly unlikely: Fluoride gel is widely used and very useful. It is highly unlikely to give you headache and other problems. I do not think there is anything to worry about. Have it myself very often. You can relax and there is not need to worry.

No: Typically, the amount of Fluoride used is low and after suctioning off or spitting out the excess, there would be very little left to swallow. People may swallow more if they overfill their toothbrush with toothpaste (you need less than you think). Currently, many dentists are switching from Fluoride gel to Fluoride varnish, which is somewhat sticky, painted on your teeth and not suctioned off.

Probably not: You can always spit out the saliva in a cup or a tissue after the Fluoride treatment. It sounds like the majority of the Fluoride has already been removed by the time you have the excess saliva.

No: If you have the excess Fluoride suctioned out then no, i would not expect the little remaining bit of Fluoride to cause any problems. If you have an extreme, y sensitive stomach there is a chance you could feel some short term stomach upset, but that should be the extent of it.

No: After suctioning, the remaining Fluoride is not enough to cause problems. Some feel mild stomach discomfort from too much fluoride.
