Lysine: Lysine is an essential amino acid, and is rarely prescribed but may be in case of lysine deficiency. Ask your physician if he has ever had you on a lysine supplement. As to "lumps" in your mouth, see your dentist or physician for diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
