A bite by any name: Maybe in center city, but I grew up in the Philly suburbs and they ate me up. Raised, red, firm itchy bumps typically are bites from small insects, especially when outdoors in the summer. Also consider spiders, chiggers, fleas, or other arthropods (including bed bugs). A more detailed description will allow us to help you better.
