I have a crown on my front teeth after a root canal. what should i do?

Post root canal?: If a back tooth has been root canaled it is best to have your dentist restore the tooth with a full cuspal coverage restoration. If a front tooth was crowned first and a root canal was needed later, a crown repair or patch can be done with composite--a new crown is not needed unless there was something wrong with the old crown--recurrent decay, open margin, etc.
