It will pass: If this is early after your operation, it is probably due to bladder irritation from a urinary bladder catheter placed during the operation. It could also be due to urinalysis retention, where you're bladder isn't emptying properly due to general anesthesia and surgical stress. Either way, bring it up with your surgeon to be sure.
