Had my gallbladder out last month two weeks later i have blood clots in both lungs was placed on 10 milligrams twice a day eliquis for a week then 5 mg twice a day then a diuretic ? why am i not peeing like people say i should? ugh surgery sucks?

I am sorry about your bad news. Remember, this anticoagulant just prevents more blood clots in your body but it does not dissolve the old clots, your body will do it but it takes time. Because of clotted vessels in your lungs, pressure is high in your lungs which causes right heart failure so diuretic was given. You need a higher dose of diuretic, salt & fluid restriction are of equally important.

You must not be retaining salt.
