Listen to your pcp: These are vague and non specific symptoms. I do not see an obvious connection to the cut. If these symptoms are increasing since you saw your pcp you should call him. If things getting a lot worse and you can't get through then an er visit.

Wound: Did the er give you a tetanus shot? Does sound more viral. At 29 your tetanus status should be current. Is the knife wound red, sore, tender, painful? Go to the er if it worsens and get at tetanus shot.
