When to get checked: This could be serious. Have you had screening colonoscopy, recommended at age 50? If not, go to your doc and get this test asap. A plain x-ray of your abdomen, possibly a ct scan may be a better choice depending on exam findings. Don't delay. Take a friend with you. You describe colon bowel obstruction. Be well.
