Depends: If the tooth is savable you may need root canal treatment, post;buildup and a crown with possible periodontal crown lengthening. If too far broken down, the extraction;bone graft, subsequent dental implant ;when healed, a custom abutment ; crown. 2nd option has greater success, so long as you have good bone ; no health problems.

Evaluation: Your dentist will evaluate the tooth after looking at it and examining a radiograph of it. Only then can a determination be made as to how the tooth can be fixed. Hard to tell what it would need, sight unseen.
