Probably not: Nexplanon is noted for causing irregular menses, from no menses to frequent irregular bleeding.

Not likely: Nexplanon releases Progesterone continuously with the effect that your periods will be at least erratic and may disappear entirely. This contrasts to the birth control pill where you actually stop the medication for a brief period each month and this brings on a period. An occasional home pregnancy test may help to reassure you, but your risk of pregnancy is quite low.

Unlikely, but...: It is unlikely that your pregnant. You are using an excellent method of birth control with a common side effect of change in period patterns. That said, there is no such thing as a perfect method. Why worry? Take a home pregnancy test, visit your doctor or planned parenthood. Most likely, you'll put your mind at ease. Good luck. Lgromkomd.

NO: I love nexplanon, I have one myself. It is the only device nobody has ever gotten pregnant on (100% successrate). This is what it does; it thins the lining in your uterus so you have no periods! just love it! no worries. Still; use condoms to prevent std's!
