Chance of pregnancy?: Not to worry you.....It is common for women in families, offices, etc., to 'cycle together, ' but if your periods are suddenly significantly lighter, you might take a pregnancy test to be sure. Good luck. Lgromkomd.

Daughter not cause: Having lighter periods has nothing to do with your daughter starting hers. You could bleed less on contraception, hormonal disorders, weightloss/ extreme excercise. You don't say if your daughter's periods are heavy or light. Usually a teenager's period is irregular at first, light or heavy since the brain-ovary-uterus system is not working well. Could you be pregnant? If worried see your doctor.
