Er: If migraine associated with nausea and vomiting often an IV and fluids are given then an antiemetic reglan, (metoclopramide) zofran or compazine. For pain usually tordal or narcotic if needed.

A few, depends.: Depends on your history, if you have had a work-up, scans, how many specialist you have seen already. If this is a "rebound" i would call your primary care doc, who knows you well. (hopefully). Then i would suggest getting ahead of the headache ball by using all options for pain. I've used acupuncture/myofascial release techniques. Magnesium supplements, espoms soaking. Massage.
