Thyroid: Why do you "believe" this? Is it because of symptoms you have? The symptoms of hypo- and hyperthyroidism are common to many other conditions, including anxiety/depression/fatigue, etc. If the thyroid has been evaluated properly by your doctor, you should look for other causes of your symptoms. An endocrinologist is a thyroid specialist.

Listen to doctor : If your thyroid hormone levels have been checked and are normal, believe your doc when he says your thyroid is ok. Don't be fooled by websites that claim you can have abnormal thyroid function with normal labs. I've seen too many people given thyroid hormone for symptoms only who have ended up in the er with heart problems because if thyroid hormone excess.
