Tell your doctor: Hair loss is common after stopping or adjusting thyroid medicine. Please let your doctor know this is happening, as you may need to resume your thyroid medicine. In my practice, i find that it is important to measure the thyroid peroxidase antibody, as this antibody is outside of the feedback loop controlled by tsh. If it is elevated, you may have hashimoto's thyroiditis.
