Collections: Most dentists will try to work this out with you. If this fails and you will not make payments then you can be turned over to a collection agency which will effect your credit score. There can also be legal charges filed. Talk to your dentist and make payments.

U must communicate:): Good health providers are smart enough to make a lot more money than they do in health care; they chose to help people for different reasons. All of them paid a dear price to obtain necessary training to serve you. These are real people who care ; want to help. Please respect their sacrifice; show the moral fiber to discuss concerns with your dental office ; work out a way to pay as you agreed.

Yes: Your account will be sent to collection agency. Your credit rating will certainly be affected.

Deliquent Payment?: Many things occur when we fail to meet our financial obligations. If you totally ignore your dds the cosmetic dentistry that will improve your looks won't happen. You name will sent to a collection agency. Many states not only fine you for this but you have to pay the state too. Call your doctor and make arrangements before all this happens.

Varies...: I am sure there was an agreement or understanding prior to the cosmetic dentistry being done. If you are considering not paying it would seem like a breach of that agreement or understanding. You should contact the dental office to discuss this. This is serious. The dental office provided a service. If you received the service discussed then you should pay as agreed. Please call the office.

Hard to say...: ... But i would assume the same that would happen if you did not pay any other bill. Your dentist provided an elective service, one that you chose to do to look better. He/she deserves to get paid for their services, per agreement, just like anyone else. Not sure what their office policy is, but it can include a collection agency and ruination of your credit rating, if that matters to you.

Collection: Unless you are not happy with the result no reason not to pay.

Court &credit report: If you entered into a treatment agreement with your dentist, including a financial commitment & failed to meet your obligations, your dentist is within their rights to take you to court (if you lose you'd pay all law bills) and the dentist can also send a negative report to the credit agencies. Just saying you didn't like the result without allowing for correction is not a solid legal defense.

Collections: The office will likely send you to collections. Not a good idea.
