Can you explain the process of a fat transfer from one part to another?

Fat Transfer: Tissue transfer like fat transfer has been done for over 100 years. Fat transfer by liposuction is preferred as the fat gets broken into small pieces by the lipo and why it is easily done with a relatively high success rate. Fat is therefore collected by liposuction and then purified and reinjected to another part. The transfer is enhanced by adding platelet rich plasma by a simple blood draw.

Varies: It varies by provider and the specifics of the procedure. In general terms fat is aspirated either with syringue, cannula, or excision under sterile conditions and pain control. The fat is then reinjected, or placed in the area where it is more desired.

Moving fat: In a fat transfer, fat is harvested from an area of unwanted fat (like the tummy or love handles) using liposuction and then reinjected into an area that you want to augment (buttocks, face, hands). This results in a permanent increase in the fat in the recipient area. Gives a natural look with long lasting result. http://www.omahacosmeticsurgery.com/contouring-procedures-category/fat-transfer/
