My baby is 4 months old he has been on antibiotics for 4 days for having a throat infection he also has a bad cough will the anti- help his cough also?

Neonate: If your baby's throat infection is due to a bacteria the antibiotic, if appropriate, will eventually diminish the inflammation producing the cough, but will not control the cough until he heals. You need to address this with the doctor seeing your baby, and hope he is better soon.
