Perhaps: Photosensitivity is common and mostly is benign. But there are some eye conditions which can cause this including inflammation inside the eye (uveitis) and a host of retinal inflammations. Corneal surface pathology can also do this but will usually make the eyes red as well. See your ophthalmologist if this is a chronic problem.
