Chalazion: A stye or chalazion occurs when there is a blockage of the oil glands behind your eye lashes. Eventually this can result in a tender and red bump on the eyelid. If there is significant inflammation then residual scar tissue can be left over. This will result in a bump on the inside/outside of the eyelid without any pain. Other possibilities include recurrence or other type of eye lid lesion.
