I was wondering if an avulsion fracture of the middle cuneiform will show up on a x-ray as i had a normal x-ray but one doc says it is broke?

It should: A fracture should show up on a plain x-ray. However some very small or subtle fractures may need an MRI or ct to be seen.

May be seen...: On a plain x-ray. If it is questionable, and the doctor thinks the signs and symptoms are strong enough to warrant further testing, a MRI will probably show the fracture easily enough.
