Hematoma: Your history of a retroperitoneal hematoma is very unusual. Do you have a known bleeding disorder? If there was no trauma associated with your hematoma i suggest you see a hematologist and get evaluated for a bleeding disorder.

Retroperitoneal: Hematoma is a rare condition, unless you are on anticoagulants or have an anatomical abnormality. Recurrence is even more rare. This episode of pain is probably not hematoma, but something else. Consult your doctor for definitive diagnosis and advice.
