I had emergency surgery 5 years ago to remove my apendix. i have been experiencing muscle spasms in that area ever since. sudden movements or abdominal exercises leave me in pain for a few minutes and then days after that. anything i can do?

Exam advised: I recommend having a physician or surgeon examine your abdomen and check for incisional hernia or other muscular abnormality. I don't think that intraabdominal adhesions would cause your type of symptoms.
