A member asked:

What could cause sudden weight loss with no exercise, no diet, no new medications, etc? also oddly very hungry?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sounds like you may: Have a thyroid problem like thyrotoxicosis: when the hormone, thyroxine is produced in abundance, generally causes loss of weight and increased hunger, see your pcp or an internist for getting evaluated, tested and treated, there might be other causes, but this the one of the commonest. Others include diabetes. Good luck.
