Retina surgery: Typically, an ophthalmologist will prescribe various eye drops to help the eye heal after retinal surgery. These include antibiotic and anti-inflammatory (both steroids and non-steroidal) drops. Sometimes, you will also be prescribed antibiotic or steroid pills if necessary.
