Hurtful but curable: Make sure that there is no part of the tooth that broke in the area of the cheek bite which has a sharp edge. Apply ambesol ointment to the area periodically, keep the area clean by rinsing with water and take tylenol (acetaminophen) or otc Ibuprofen for the pain. Applying ice to the area also helps.

Give it some time: For most people trauma from cheek biting usually heals on its own within 3-4 days. In the mean time avoid spicy foods and acidly foods and drinks (soda, gatorade, etc.). Rinse with warm salt water after meals to help keep it clean. Sometimes a traumatic injury will ulcerate as pat of the healing process. If that happens it will take about 10-14 days to heal. If unsure have your dentist look.
