Tattooing face? No!: You don't want a facial tattoo followed by oral surgery. If either area becomes infected you can cross contaminate contaminate sites. Frankly, i know the sterility standards met by the majority of dentists. I don't trust such is the case with tattoo studios. Get the tattoo, wait a few weeks to see if an infection takes place. If you feel healthy, then get your oral surgery.

Not smart: Risk of cross contamination from tattoo site to dental surgery site is possible (tattoo parlor so don't have same standards as dental operating suite. That said, if you have a dental infection it requires immediate rx. Don't wait.

Wait 6 weeks: Getting a tattoos does convey a certain infection risk. It may complicate dental procedures, such as tooth extractions, implant placement or root canal treatment.
