Not recommended: It's of course possible since you're in charge of what you drink or take. But it's not recommended to drink alcohol at all if you're on lexapro (escitalopram). Please don't.

No: Drinking alcohol on Lexapro (escitalopram) would be a bad idea that could make you suicidal, because the alcohol causes the Lexapro (escitalopram) to stop working for up to 72 hours and can throw you back into rebound depression. Don't risk it!
