Sometimes can: Zedar1, for a cancer to be seen on laparoscopy it has to be big enough to be seen and has to stand out from normal findings. Most laparoscopy is not to look for cancer so often does not look thoroughly at all the organs and surfaces. So given this, it would only be noticed if someone happen to see it by chance. If the laparoscopy is to look for cancer, it is more likely to see and biopsy things.
