Is it possible for you to detect cancer from a laparoscopy?

Most laparoscopy is not to look for cancer so often does not look thoroughly at all the organs and surfaces. So given this, it would only be noticed if someone happen to see it by chance. If the laparoscopy is to look for cancer, it is more likely to see and biopsy things.
