Can you see ovarian cancer in a laparoscopy?

Sometimes: During laparoscopy the surgeon is able to directly visualize the pelvic organs. Sometimes a malignant tumor is obvious just by looking. In other cases the cancer is microscopic so to make the diagnosis the organ or part of it must be removed so that the tissue can be examined under a microscope.
