Mouthwash: Try rinsing with a mouthwash designed to kill bacteria before you go to bed. You can get it over the counter.

Make sure : That you are flossing and brush your tongue too. A lot of halitosis (bad breath) in the am comes from mouth breathing, though, and there isn't much to do about that. Just keep your sinuses , gums, tongue, teeth in good order to minimize problems. Be well.

Morning breath is: Unpleasant for all. Period. Make sure your hygiene regimen is good -- i advocate use of a mechanical toothbrush (oral b triumph 5000) and waterpik (wp-100). These are what I use personally and recommend to my patients. There is a mouthwash called smartmouth which also seems to work very well in controlling mouth odors. Hope this helps.
