noise not pain: Usually tinnitus manifests symptoms of sound or noise in the ear rather than pain. If you are also experiencing pain you should consult your otolaryngologist as you may have an infection or another coexisting issue with your ears.

There are many: Ways to treat pain. They might treat your ear pain from tinnitus. I would caution that they need to do very careful imaging to make sure your tinnitus is benign before trying to suppress any symptoms from it. An ENT doctor is the best person to consult about this.
