Stopping Valium: Yes you should taper, but can properly taper more quickly>2.5mg x 5 days>2.5 every other day x 2 doses then stop.

Yes, taper: 2.5 mg. For ten days would be good. Then take 2.5 mg. Every other day for another ten days then stop.
