Give it time: It is very common to have varying degrees of pain from an inguinal hernia repair for a few weeks. A lot depends on the size of the hernia, type of repair, etc. If there are no signs of infection or early recurrence, it is often just a matter of giving it time.

At 2 weeks: You are still healing from your operation. Show it to your surgeon, because it might be an infection. It could be entrapped nerve, but it is too early to tell.
